MARYLAND DISTRICT VISITATION RULES 2010

12/10/2010.
Forms received after 11/30/10 will not be considered, unless otherwise stated by visit coordinator.

Award – A Plaque and $100.00 will be presented to Maryland Chapter that accumulates the highest number of points earned by completing visits to any GWRRA Chapter, District, Region, National or International event that sells 50/50. There will be an award of $50.00 to 2nd place and $25.00 to 3rd place.

Points will be calculated as follows:

Maryland Chapter gatherings – 30 points for 3 members or more

Maryland Chapter Fund Raiser – 60 points for 3 members or more

Maryland District Events – 40 points for 3 members or more

Other Maryland Chapter events with 50/50 count for 30 points

Region events – 25 points for 2 members or more

Wing Ding – 50 points for 2 members or more

For Gatherings, Fund Raisers, & other Events, as well as District events outside Maryland, you will earn ½ the points for the same type event above and will still have to have 3 or more members attend.  Region events stay the same.

Under 3 members will still get 5 points each and must have a visitation form signed.

THERE WILL BE BONUS POINTS AWARDED AT THE END OF THE VISITATION YEAR AS FOLLOWS:

For visiting all the Maryland Chapter Gatherings each once – 75 bonus points and if you do it again, an additional 75 points for each cycle of visitations.

For visiting all the Maryland Chapter Fund Raisers – 100 bonus points.

For visiting all the District events, WinterThing, the District Picnic (if we have one), the Rendezvous, Staff Meetings and any other District events – 50 bonus points.

ONLY GWRRA MEMBERS SHOULD BE LISTED ON THE VISITATION FORM

The Visitation form must be completed by the visiting chapter and signed and validated by a signature and date of an appropriate host GWRRA officer.

Only one visit a day will count for the points.  If your chapter does several visits on Sunday, one in southern Maryland and one in Baltimore, only one will count for points.
If you visit Wing Ding or a region event or another districts event and your chapter does a local visit, both count.

Also only GWRRA events with a 50/50 will count for points, no exceptions.  You can enjoy those events with no 50/50 but no visitation points will be counted.

Send the original completed and validated forms to:

Susan Miller
2902 Northwind Road
Baltimore, Md. 21234

Chapter Directors please keep a copy of all your visitation forms for your record.  A new master spreadsheet will be provided at the beginning of each year to aid you in tracking your chapters visits throughout the year.
